GARDEN INFORMATION 2011
The gardens are now closed for the season and will re-open in March 2012. As has been the case in the past few years, the gardens have free entry. There is no time limit, bring a picnic and stay as long as you like. (Gates do close at 5pm!) Please note: This is a mature garden with areas set aside for wildlife - it is never going to be regimented or 'weed free' that stand of nettles is there because they are the main food source for small tortoishell and peacock butterfly larvae.
Good disabled access with ramps and level paths. Toilet for disabled visitors, use of wheelchair on request, plenty of seating in the gardens.
Refreshments and Gift Shop.
We have a small light refreshment area within the shop and a tea terrace with plenty of seating outside in fine weather.
We serve tea, coffee, herb teas, soft drinks, organic ice cream, a selection of delicious homemade cakes and our speciality, Kentish Cream Teas!

The shop is filled with interesting herby products, herbal remedies, gifts, herb, wildflower and vegetable seeds, books, crystals, cards, local honey - and so much more! we even have a 'collector's corner' this year
